I've never gone camping but I really want to spend three weeks by myself in nature
I've lived all of my life in large urban cities but feel like I need this in a way
But I'm concerned that it could potentially be dangerous especially if I'm alone in a remote area and who knows what kind of crazies are out there
I have a few places in mind but primarily focused on my safety
Any advice from anybody with experience with camping by yourself would be greatly appreciate

What do you think will be dangerous? What is more dangerous about 3 weeks vs 3 days? Bring enough food/water, go to a relatively safe area and don't go too deep into the woods/get lost and you'll be fine.
You don't need to worry about crazies, you need to worry about getting lost, getting injured, maybe animals like bears/big cats depending where you are.

I know its not like real camping but I plan to rent an airstream and will definitely have food and water not to mention a navigation system and ipad/phone
I'm actually thinking about some place in the northwest but as remote as possible and my only concern is running into some bad people in the middle of nowhere, does this just not happen in reality and its only in horror movies?

this, but if you end up stopping in a trafficked area, you'll get people passing by on their way to their campsite or while they're exploring. Up to you if you're comfortable with that. Most people are normal. There are def some weirdos out there though.
Personally I wouldn't advise a solo 3-week event for your first ever camping trip. But if you're set on it, make sure you have all the necessary emergency gear to survive on your own in the event of an injury/catastrophe, or some way of getting help if you can't get yourself to safety. Flares, HAM Radio, heat blanket, water filtration, flashlights, firestarter, axe, shovel.
Bring at least 2x as much water as you think you'll need, and 2x as much firewood. I would definitely advise bringing at least a large caliber handgun along, as well as bear mace.

"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. I was nervous as ****, but too scared to say anything to him. Then my niece started crying, and I’m trying to quiet her down because I don't want to bother him. Pretty soon he walks over and asks what's wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry. He put down his magazine, picked up my niece, and lifted up his shirt, and breastfed her right there in the salon. Chill guy, really nice about it."

I'm going to have an airstream so will have a lot of niceties but access to nature by just stepping outside
I want to be as remote as possible like ideally no other people for miles but that is why I'm a little nervous that what if some I run into some crazies and there's nobody else
Tbh I have no idea how to use a gun although I'm sure I can figure it out but even though I'm not necessarily anti-gun its just not my style and would feel very uncomfortable with it candidly
