According to a new report by Yonhap News, Samsung is expected to hold a Galaxy Unpacked event in mid-August where the company is said to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy S21 FE.
Earlier rumour revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 would launch in July. But the new phones will allegedly be released in August along with the Galaxy S21 FE and will help in filling the gap which will be left by Galaxy Note.
Another online report by LetsGoDigital revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to come with S Pen support. The report claims that Samsung filed for a trademark with European Union Intellectual Property Office last week. The trademark filed under Class 9 has “smartphones, tablets, protective covers; electronic pen; capacitive stylus” as its description.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be priced around $1,099 (Rs 80,770).
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will go into mass production in July and it is rumoured to launch in August this year. The smartphone is said to come in Gray, Light Green, Light Violet and White colour options.
As per leaks and rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will follow similar design aesthetics as the Galaxy S21 series. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The display is also expected to house a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera.
The smartphone is expected to be either powered by Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The handset is said to be backed by a 4500mAh battery.
