Shares of energy pipeline companies were broadly higher Monday, in the aftermath of the ransomware attack on Colonial Pipeline, even as crude oil futures reversed earlier gains to trade lower. Among some of the more active energy infrastructure and pipeline operators, shares of Kinder Morgan Inc. KMI, +2.19% climbed 1.9%, Energy Transfer L.P. ET, +1.16% rallied 2.0%, Enterprise Products Partners L.P. EPD, +1.29% rose 1.3%, TC Energy Corp. TRP, +0.67% gained 1.2%, Williams Companies WMB, +0.99% tacked on 0.8% and Plains All American Pipeline L.P. PAA, +3.74% hiked up 2.3%. Meanwhile, crude oil futures CL00, -0.52% fell 0.3%, after being up nearly 1% earlier, as the S&P 500 SPX, -0.06% slipped 0.1%.
