A lockdown has been imposed in Rajasthan from 5 am today to curb the growing infection of Corona, which will remain till 5 am on May 24. Under this, marriage ceremonies in Rajasthan will be held only after May 31, 2021. However, during this time marriage will be allowed at home or as a court marriage, in which only 11 persons will be allowed. All types of religious places will remain closed.
In addition to medical services, all types of private and government transport such as buses, jeeps, etc. will be completely closed. Bus, auto, tempo, tractor, jeep, etc. will not be allowed for the procession. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has instructed officers to ensure strict statewide lockdown. He said that the effect of the lockdown should be seen from the first day till the village-Dhani for the survival of the people of the state. There should not be any kind of laxity in it. Whoever violates the guideline, action should be taken strictly.
