In New Hampshire, officials hope for a rebound of summer tourism

The officials of New Hampshire officials anticipate spending nicely on summer tourism to get back to the levels of 2019.


This summer, the state Division of Travel and Tourism Development, is forecasting that there will be roughly 3.5 million visitors to New Hampshire. Spending will reach almost $1.8 billion.


For state tourism, summer is characteristically the busiest season. During the summers of 2020, visitation went down 15% due the present crisis. However, officials hope to experience a rebound on the basis of pent-up demand for travel and the high vaccination rate of the state, powerful economy and assets of tourism.


Lori Harnois, the tourism director said that the state is all set to introduce a summer advertising campaign targeting New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio. She mentioned of providing importance to hiking, boating, camping and family fun.


“We expect this to be a summer of discovery and rediscovery for visitors,” said Harnois. “Our message is to come, explore everything we have to offer, and Discover Your New in New Hampshire.”
