BHEL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 61.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 20,937 (up 1.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is BHEL (up 5.4%).

THERMAX and LAKSHMI MACHINE (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BHEL has moved up from Rs 23 to Rs 61, registering a gain of Rs 38 (up 165.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 11,399 to 20,937, registering a gain of 9,538 points (up 83.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 2.6%), ONGC (up 2.6%) and HDFC (up 2.3%). Other gainers include INDUSIND BANK (up 2.1%) and L&T (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,951 (up 0.8%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include COAL INDIA (up 4.5%), UPL (up 4.4%) and HINDALCO (up 3.7%). Other gainers include DR. REDDYS LAB (up 3.4%) and ONGC (up 3.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,686 to 49,590, registering a gain of 17,904 points (up 56.37%).

BHEL Financial Update...

BHEL net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 21.6% to Rs 44.5 billion during the period as against Rs 56.8 billion in October-December 2019.

For the year ended March 2020, BHEL reported 225.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 14.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 11.9 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 29.4% to Rs 215 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BHEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 6.6x.
