Hyderabad: With the health sector of Telangana struggling with the increasing pressure of COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to make temporary use of new medical and paramedical graduates across the state.
According to a statement by the state government, the CM has decided to take out applications from approximately 50,000 medical students who have completed and qualified their MBBS course.
The medical and health officers were asked to appoint doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, pharmacists and other paramedics for a period of two to three months and to use their services for the treatment of coronavirus.
Rao said these temporary workers have to pay their substantial salaries, and because they are expanding their valuable services to the state. it must be well acknowledged.
In the future, they should gain weight points when they are hired for the job in government.
The CM has the COVID-19 situation on Sunday, and has taken several decisions aimed at addressing the challenges COVID-19 pandemic.
The government decided to immediately start specialty specialty hospitals in Warangal and Adilabad and appoint medical and health personnel there.
Rao has ordered that the 250-bed Super Specialty Hospital of the MGM in Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and the 250-bed Super Specialty Hospital at RIMS Adilabad be put into operation immediately.
During the investigation, the CM inquired about the availability of oxygen, beds, Remdesivir injections and other facilities. However, he said that Remdesivir injections should also be made available in the private hospitals and asked the officials to take the necessary measures.
KCR, as the CM is popularly known, has retained the Ministry of Health after recently removing Eatela Rajender from the portfolio.
