Im new here and thought about branching out to get some insight for improvement on my training plan. Ill try to keep everything short and sweet.
Currently 5'11 sitting at 236lb. Been lifting for about 9 months now and have made some significant strength and muscle gain.
My problem is i have a decent gut but have a nicely built frame underneath. So i started my trek for fat loss/muscle maint (as much as possible, I know its hard to do both)
Ive been on the current plan for 2 weeks and have lost about 5 lb. but feel like its sort of plateauing
My training:
day 1: Upper body then 10 min HIIT cardio
day 2: lower body then 10 min HIIT cardio
day 3: rest
day 4 : upper then 10 min HIIT cardio
day 5 :lower
rest
rest
I go fairly intense and burn around 6-800 cal per sesh.
my intake:
~1500 cal/day
200g protein
usually under 100g carb
around 40g fat
Im eating lean meats, getting my veggies in and my meals are pretty clean.
im trying to lose about 20-30lb but maintain as much muscle as possible but also lose as fast as possible. any improvements to be made? or just give this plan more time?
Im an open book and will appreciate and tips/constructive criticism
