KCR condemns death of former DGP Prasad Rao

Hyderabad: Prime Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today condemned the death of the former DGP of Andhra Pradesh B Prasad Rao. In a message, he regrets the death of the former top man and expresses his condolences to the grieving family members.

Prasad Rao reportedly died at a U.S. hospital. Prasad Rao, from Vijayawada, served the joint state in various capacities.

He received the Indian Police Medal in 1997 and the Presidential Medal in 2006. Prasad Rao served as Commissioner of Hyderabad and APSRTC MD and DGP.
