Jaipur: Full lockdown starts today in Rajasthan, all details of exemptions and curbs

The second wave of Covid-19 has wreaked havoc in Rajasthan. A complete lockdown has been imposed in the state, with effect from today(May 10) at 5 am till 5 am on 24 May to control the spread of Coronavirus. All services except emergency services will be prohibited in the lockdown. Any person found wandering unnecessarily will have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine.

Public and private transport services will be completely banned in this lockdown. Restrictions will be applicable on intercity movement too, similar curbs will remain in villages. There will also be a ban on movement from city to village and from village to city. Private, public transport means buses, jeeps etc. will be completely closed. Bus, auto, tempo, tractor, jeep etc. will not be approved to operate.

Fresh Guidelines

-As on weekends, everything except milk, medical and fruit vegetables will remain closed.

-Till May 24, all government offices, markets and commercial establishments except essential services will remain closed.

- More than 11 guests will not be able to gather at weddings.

- No more than 20 people will be able to attend a funeral.

-Approval of wedding ceremony, DJ, procession, a feast will not be received till 31 May.

-Marriage gardens, marriage halls and hotels will remain closed for the wedding ceremony.

- Those coming from outside the state have to show the RT-PCR negative report made 72 hours ago.

Exemptions

- There are no restrictions on the movement of freight vehicles.

- All units related to industries and construction will open.

- The workers will have to carry an I-card.

- The district collector will issue a pass.

- Candidates of competitive examinations will be allowed to come with admit card.

-Liquor shops will be open from Monday to Friday from 6 to 11 am.

Shops that are allowed to open

- Common things like fruits, vegetables, milk, groceries will be available.

- Fruit vegetable carts will open from 6 am to 5 pm and grocery shops from 6 to 11 in the morning.

- Animal food product shops will open from 6 to 11 am Monday to Friday.

- Manure seed shops, agricultural equipment shops will be allowed to open from Monday to Thursday between 6 to 11 am.

- bicycles, rickshaws, auto-rickshaws and mobile vans are allowed from 6 am to 5 pm.

- Dairy and milk shops are allowed to open from 6 to 11 in the morning and from 5 to 7 in the evening.

- Medical stores, medical equipment shops will remain open.

- There will be an exemption in the transportation of medical, emergency services and permitted categories.

- Workers will be allowed to work in all industries, construction units so that migration of workers can be stopped.

- Special bus can be operated for the movement of workers.

- These institutions will have to give the complete details for the possession of workers to the District Collector Office.
