Hyderabad: A 200-beds COVID-19 isolation center was inaugurated on Monday in the NAC Dormitory, Art of Living Foundation, near Hitex in Madhapur in Hyderabad.
The facility has been set up in collaboration with the NAC, the International Association for Human Values (IAHMC), the Cyberabad Police, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and member of the Legislative Council K. Kavitha inaugurated the facility in the presence of Serliingampally MLA Arikepudi Gandhi, Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, VC Sajjanar, and the Secretary-General SCC , Krishna Yedula.
Kavitha said the Telangana government is strengthening its medical services in the state.
Sajjanar mentions that the facility with 200 beds is oxygen concentrators and essential COVID-19 medical equipment. The district collector has assigned medical staff who put doctors and staff nurses at risk.
Free breakfast, lunch and dinner are arranged for patients. Relaxation facilities such as meditation and other activities are also planned for the patients in a relaxed environment to recover faster.
