Rogers expands rural connectivity in Durham Region

Rogers announced that Ruralwave, powered by Rogers, will partner with the government of Canada to bring internet connectivity to rural communities across Durham Region, with a joint investment of CAD 1.357 million. The money will be used to connect over 300 new homes in Burketon and Tyrone to fibre, enabling speeds of up to 1 Gbps. When completed in the fall, customers will also have access to Roger's IPTV service, Ignite TVTM.
