Firstly, it has rolled out the support for swipe to archive in Messenger, along with a new Archived Chats folder on mobile. Users will be able to tap on their profile picture and select Archived Chats for a full list of archived threads.
Next, it has also rolled out two chat themes in Messenger and Instagram — Star Wars and Selena: The Series.
Also, the Messenger platform now comes with support for new camera stickers that are aimed to celebrate the diversity and impact of Asian and Pacific Islanders (API).

Lastly, Messenger users will be able to go hands-free with tap-to-record on Messenger. Users will no longer have to hold down the mic — tap-to-record allows you to record audio messages, making it more accessible.
When it comes to Instagram, the platform will now have the ability to see if their friends have seen their messages with the inbox seen status feature. They will be able to see a text snippet confirming that the person you have sent the message has seen it.
The company is also adding the option to send a visual reply in Instagram DMs on iOS with another photo or video. It is coming to Android soon, the company confirmed.
