Gal Gadot has finally spoken out about her experience with Joss Whedon during reshoots of the Justice League.
In July 2020, Ray Fisher first spoke out about the director's on-set treatment; Warner Bros launched an investigation but claimed that the 33-year-old did not want to participate.
In September that year, Jason Momoa added his voice and spoke out about his experience working on the film. He said: "Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable."
WarnerMedia has since told The Hollywood Reporter that "remedial action" was taken and that their "policy is to not publicly disclose the findings or the results of an investigation."
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in December 2020, the Wonder Woman actor told the publication that while she wasn't there when the guys filmed with Whedon, she had her own experience with him.
"I had my own experience, which wasn't the best one, but I took care of it there and when it happened. I took it to the higher-ups and they took care of it. But I'm happy for Ray to go up and say his truth."
In a report by The Hollywood Reporter a source told the publication that Whedon pushed Gadot to record lines she didn't like and threatened her career.
"Joss was bragging that he's had it out with Gal. He told her he’s the writer and she's going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie."
Now in an interview with N12 News, the 36-year-old confirmed the claims.
"What I had with Joss basically is that he kind of threatened my career and said if I did something he would make my career miserable. I handled it on the spot," said Gadot.
