Joel Pimentel Is Leaving CNCO - Read the Statement
Joel Pimentel is sadly leaving CNCO.
The 22-year-old entertainer is departing from the “Reggaetón Lento” troupe after several years together, the group confirmed in a statement on Sunday (May 9).
“CNCOwners! We want to start by saying how much we truly love you and appreciate all of the support you give us day in and day out, year after year,” the statement begins.

“For that reason, we’re sad to tell you that after five and a half unforgettable and life changing years together, Friday, May 14th will be Joel’s last day as a member of CNCO.”
“We want you all to know that while Joel is leaving and will be pursuing new opportunities, we are and will always be brothers. We support him in his next chapter, and will always, most importantly, remain a family. We know this news is saddening and is going to be as hard for all of you as it is for us, but we appreciate you sticking with us. While it will be different, we are so excited to continue into this new era of CNCO, and can’t wait for all of you to see what we have in store for you!” they continued.
“You guys are what keep us going and have us so excited to continue together stronger than ever. For that reason, we wanted to give you a final gift all together. On Friday, we will perform, the five of us, one last time for our global livestream concert event. We hope you can join us! We love you and will see you very soon! Christopher, Erick, Richard & Zabdiel.”

CNCOwners! Queremos comenzar diciendo cuanto l@s queremos y lo agradecido que estamos por todo el apoyo que nos dan día a día, año tras año. Por esa razón nos entristece contarles que después de 5 años y medio inolvidables que han cambiado nuestras vidas el viernes 14 de mayo será el ultimo día de Joel como miembro de CNCO.
Queremos que sepan que, aunque Joel se va y estará persiguiendo oportunidades nuevas somos y siempre seremos hermanos. Lo apoyaremos en su próximo capitulo y siempre será nuestra familia sobre todas las cosas.
Sabemos que esta noticia es triste y será tan difícil para nosotros como lo es para ustedes, pero agradecemos su apoyo. Aunque será diferente estamos emocionados de mostrarles la nueva era de CNCO y estamos ansiosos que vean todo lo que tenemos preparados para ustedes pronto.
