BHUBANESWAR: The Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB) has achieved 100% placement yet again for its students despite the pandemic situation and slump in the job market. The Xavier Institute of Management, School of Human Resource Management, and School of Rural Management under the XUB have announced that they have successfully placed their MBA students of 2019-21 batch. Half of the recruiters are new companies. XIMB, a noted B-school in the country, is known for its two-year flagship business management programme. This year, with an average of Rs 15.15 lakh per annum, XIMB has successfully placed all students. The highest number of recruitments was made in the consulting sector (31%) followed by Systems (21%) and marketing (20%) and other sectors. The highest domestic salary stood at Rs 24 lakh per annum, while average annual compensation stood at Rs 15.15 lakh per annum. School of Human Resource Management saw the batch of 129 candidates participating in the placement process. Altogether 26 out of 52 companies participating in the drive were new recruiters. The highest domestic salary stood at Rs 20 lakh per annum.
