Mah: Nagpur registers 3827 new cases, 81 fatalities

Nagpur, May 8 (UNI) Nagpur continues to record a dip in daily coronavirus cases as on Saturday the district recorded 3,827 new cases and registered 81 casualties.
With this update, the tally of total cases reached to 4,45,971 while 81 patients lost their lives in the battle against COVID-19, pushing the toll to 8,069.
However, a silver lining is that as many as 7,799 people recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative recovery count to 3,79,657 and the recovery rate jumped to 85.13 per cent.
Following the fresh updates, the total active cases in the district now stands at 58,245.
