One dead, three injured when trucks hit a moped in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: A salesman of Ayurvedic medicine was killed while his wife and two children were injured Sunday when a truck hit his moped from behind on Bodhan-Nizamabad road. The injured person’s condition is said to be stable.

Chintala Arjun (30) sells Ayurvedic medicine by wandering around in villages on his motorbike. On Sunday, he was traveling on his motorbike with his wife and two children from Bodhan to Nizamabad when a truck hit their vehicle from behind at Satapur gate of Yedapaly Mandal. Arjun fell off the moped and the truck hit him, leading to his immediate death. His wife and children escaped with minor injuries.

Yedapally police reached the scene and arrested the truck driver. They registered a case and moved the injured family members to Bodhan Area Hospital.
