Been in Crypto a long time. Actually since 2013. I wouldn't call that the oldest as the oldest is 2009 for people who got into Bitcoin in the first months.


There's very few "biological" women in crypto unless (combination usually) #1. they're very old #2. they're East Asian #3 (most common) a boyfriend / husband brought them in.


In fact, there were a lot of "women" in the Telegram chats of years ago and turns out they were transexuals and men in drag. Imagine trannies outnumbering biological in Crypto and it was literally like that until 2018 or something.



It's hard to explain this gender divide because even 'male' hobbies like gaming, Dungeon & Dragons, Chess, SF and comic books I'm pretty sure have way more women than Crypto does.


I simply break it down to a result of money and society. If women want money they become a gold digger and seek out rich guys. If a man wants money he searches around for investments. I bet very few women (unless it's part of a company policy or a government mandated pension plan) actually invest in stocks on their own let alone take time to research them and stuff.
