Actor Janhvi Kapoor remembered late mother Sridevi with a series of beautiful photos of herself with her on the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday. The photos posted on Janhvi Kapoor’s Instagram page feature stills from her childhood, where she is seen with Sridevi and her father Boney Kapoor.

My Mumma,” Janhvi wrote, captioning the photos. Her younger sister Khushi also shared two photos remembering their mother. “Happy Mother’s Day to the best,” Khushi wrote alongside the cute pictures from her childhood.

Global star Priyanka Chopra penned a long note, dedicated to her mother Madhu Chopra and her mother-in-law Denise Jonas. Alongside two photos of herself with them, Priyanka wrote, “Here’s to all the mothers all around us that boundlessly create, nurture and love. Please know you are appreciated and seen. I’m so blessed to look up to two incredible women who lead by example everyday. Love you.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar posted a cute video of his kids– Yash and Roohi– reciting lines as told by their mother-in-law Hiroo Johar. In an accompanying post, Karan thanked his mother for being his co-parent. “A huge shout out to my mother @hiroojohar who is the the wind beneath my wings… my rock solid co parent… my boss and my reality check !! I love you mom! You are my sunshine.”

Superstar Kamal Haasan remembered his mother with a heart-warming post and a picture of himself with her. In a series of tweets accompanying the black-and-white photo, Kamal Haasan wrote that his mother was not just a person for him, rather an emotion that “guides” him in the right direction.

Mother is not just a person anymore. In my mind she is an emotion that moves me in the right direction every time. Every day of mine is hers too. So yet another happy mother’s day,” the actor-politician wrote.

Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wished the veteran actor. Riddhima shared a black and white photo of herself with Neetu on her Instagram profile. She captioned the photo, “I am a STRONG woman because a STRONG woman raised me! Happy Mother’s Day my Iron Lady ! Love you most ♥️.”

Actor Sushmita Sen also wished her mother on her Instagram profile. She shared photos and captioned the post, “Happpyyyyy Mother’s Day to all nurturers!! 😍🤗❤️ I thank God for all of you!!🙏😇. Superstar Chiranjeevi also took to social media to wish his and mothers around the world on the occasion. “#HappyMothersDay to All the Mothers of the World!!” he wrote alongside a photo of himself with his family.
