At a time when COVID-19 cases in Indian are increasing by the day, the government has reiterated that vaccination is the way forward. Many of our favourite actors and actresses, too, have shared this message, urging people to take the jab as soon as possible. Once the government allowed all those above the age of 18 to get vaccinated, many young celebrities led by example and got their shots recently. Now, 'Pavitra Rishta' actress, Ankita Lokhande has taken the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and shared a video of herself taking the jab. As seen in the video, the actress is scared of needles and kept chanting God's name while the nurse tried to calm her down by asking her to take deep breaths. Sharing the video she wrote, 'I got mine, get yours as soon as possible. #gotvaccinated #fightagainstcorona'. Soon after the video went viral, fans and friends of the actress dropped hilarious reactions on the comment section. Ankita’s close friend, actor Rashami Desai commented on the post with laughing emojis, while singer Shivam Mahadevan wrote, 'Hahaha ! Great that you got it too finally!'. Speaking about Ankita Lokhande, the actress is an ardent social media user and keeps sharing gorgeous photographs of herself. From personal clicks with beau Vicky Jain to flaunting her chic style, Ankita surely knows how to entertain her millions of fans. Now, on the professional front, Ankita Lokhande became popular for the portrayal of the role of ‘Archana’ in the daily soap ‘Pavitra Rishta’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress was also in a relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, but the two parted ways after being in a relationship for over 6 years, and on the film front, she was last seen in multi-starrer film 'Baaghi 3' alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Riteish Deshmukh.
