Pakyong , 08 May : As per information received from DG cum Secretary Health Dr.Pempa T. Bhutia two oxygen concentrators are being provided to each PHC and one in each ward of the District hospitals. ‘We have already received 250 concentrators and also received 60 more yesterday’, he added.
We are setting up 2nd oxygen plant 200 litres per minute at STNM hospital. We are getting the plant from the GOI by the end of this month where civil work is complete. Have proposed Oxygen plant 200 litres per minute for Gyalshing District Hospital, which is informed to be approved, he informed.
Likewise, 500 vials of Remdesivir from Sun Pharma have been received today and 240 vials have been given to STNM Hospital. We also received 60 oxygen concentrators, out of which 15 each have already been issued to Namchi District Hospital and Singtam District Hospital today itself, informed DG cum Secretary.
