The Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections happened on April 6, 2021, and the results were declared on May 2, 2021. DMK won the elections by a huge margin and MK Stalin was elected as the Chief Minister. During the swearing-in ceremony, OPS along with Speaker Dhanapal was seen near MK Stalin having tea with the Governor.

Later, there has been a tussle in the ADMK party to select the leader of the opposition. OPS who gave away his cm post is not ready to give away the opposition party leader post this time. Both of them directly indulged in a war of words and yesterday night it created a huge ruckus. EPS demand the post as he won the elections in Edappadi Constituency by a huge margin. 


At the same time, OPS blames EPS for the loss in elections. He also lashed at EPS for wasting party money under the name of vote canvas. As both the parties were involved in a ruckus, the meeting was called off and was shifted to May 10th. MK stalin announced a complete lockdown from May 10th to 24th and now the new date from the ADMK party is yet to be revealed. Only time has to reveal who will be the leader for ADMK.
