Hyderabad: Burglars broke into a Mee Seva centre at SR Nagar and decamped with cash in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the police, the centre was unmanned, and the burglars are suspected to have used tools to damage the lock on the main door and enter the office.
“They opened the almirah in the office, and fled with cash after destroying the surveillance cameras,” police said, adding that the centre staff, who reached the spot in the morning, saw the damaged almirah and alerted the police.
A case has been booked and the investigation is on.
