But as per the latest update, the entire bigg boss team is planning to postpone the show to next year. Yes, if reports are to be trusted, the entire Season 5 of bigg boss is likely to happen next year. Even during last season, we saw the contestants leaving the home due to the pandemic and they were kept in a hotel for two days, and after sanitizing and clearing everything they made a comeback. 


As the second wave is severe and is spreading so fast, the makers don't want to take any risks and have decided to postpone the show. Apart from this, kamal haasan may not continue to be the host for bigg boss after his defeat in tamil Nadu assembly Elections. We are just waiting for an official confirmation in this regard.
