Hyderabad: In an effort to address the bed crisis in hospitals amid an increase in COVID-19 cases, a new isolation center has been set up in Hyderabad to tide the crisis and start taking patients from Monday 10 May.
MLC and former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha inaugurated a Golgotha temple on Saturday COVID isolation center in collaboration with Ankura Hospital and Theresa Hospital.
The founder of the Golgotha Temple, Brother Satish, has decided to open their premises for its treatment. COVID positive patients who belonged to the less privileged background.
The facility has 300 beds, consists of 50 oxygen beds and 250 ordinary beds with a staff of more than 100 people COVID-19 patients will be quarantined and undergo treatment. It is set up for the underprivileged part of the association and offers free treatment, medicine and food to the COVID positive patients treated there.
During the event, K Kavitha congratulated Brother Satish, Ankura Hospital and Theresa Hospital and thanked them for their quick initiative in providing for the needs of sick needy and poor people.
Kavitha also made a plea to the media and the people via the media to be safe and vigilant about the safety of others and urged people to obey COVID exercise protocols and all the precautions taken to protect against COVID-19.
Kavitha also took to Twitter to congratulate Brother Satish, Calvary Temple, Ankura Hospital and Theresa Hospital. In a tweet, she said: ‘Congratulations to Brother Satish of Calvary Temple who opened 300 beds in collaboration with Ankura Hospital and Theresa Hospital Covid Isolation Center for Needy People in Calvary Temple Premises. #COVID-19″
