Coimbatore: Forest department officials believe that the male leopard that was found dead in a tea estate near Manampalli in Anamalai Tiger Reserve could have died because of natural causes. The decayed carcass of the leopard, estimated to be about four years old, was found by tea estate workers. After an autopsy, veterinarians told forest officials that there was no foul play in the death. The carcass was burnt by the officials.TNN
