  • Tata Steel, SBI Life, Coal India, M&M and Bharti Airtel are the top gainers while Tata Consumer, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors and BPCL, are the top losers.
  • Nifty Metal stocks surge 2.8% to drive trade on Friday while Nifty Auto stocks are marginally in the negative zone. 
  • Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 39 advance and 11 declined.
