A wild buffalo fell into an open well in Komaram Bheem district in Telangana on May 5. On May 6, a villager found the buffalo in the well and informed the Sarpanch, who subsequently sought the forest department official's help. Using an earthmover, the forest department officials rescued the wild buffalo around on May 6. The wild buffalo, who suffered minor injuries on the head, was helped by the villagers to cross the river and go back to the forest.
