SSC CGL exam postponed, fresh dates later

Fresh dates of postponed examinations and notification of examination will be announced by the Commission in due course after assessing the situation

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to postpone the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) (Tier-I) and Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) (CGL) examinations till further orders. The CHSL exam has been postponed for candidates who had opted their centers in West Bengal.

The SSC CHSL exams were scheduled for May 21 and 22 while CGL exams were scheduled to be held between May 29 to June 7. However, the commission has put off both the exams.

Along with these examinations, the commission has also deferred date of notification of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2021 which was earlier scheduled to release in the first week of May 2021.

"Fresh dates of postponed examinations and notification of examination will be announced by the Commission in due course after assessing the situation," the commission said in a notice issued on Friday.
