Guess who is back? The Kandasamys!

Get ready for loads more belly laughs and relatable family drama when Trippin’ with the Kandasamys lands on Netflix on 4 June 2021.

Following the super-popular Kandasamys: The Wedding, this installment of the well-loved franchise follows the gang on a hilarious bonding trip, planned by Jennifer and Shanti for Shanti’s 50th birthday celebration.

The two besties have their own plans for this trip, specifically focusing on spicing up their marriages, but surprise, surprise, things don’t work out as they would’ve hoped (thanks Elvis and Preggy!) and an unexpected guest brings about turmoil and quick thinking on the women’s part.

"As a South African filmmaker, the feelings are a mixed bag of delight, absolute thrill, happiness and excitement. To have our story on the world’s largest streaming service, and to be able to share a slice of South Africa with over 190 countries is nothing short of awesome. It’s the stuff dreams are made of. Thank you, Netflix," Director Jayan Moodley said in a statement to the media on Friday.

Trippin’ with the Kandasamys stars fan favourites, Jailoshini Naidoo (Jennifer) and Maeshni Naicker (Shanti), the two besties you love to love, Mishqah Parthiephal (Jodi), Madhushan Singh (Preshen), the nervous but excited newlyweds, the annoyingly funny husbands, Koobeshen Naidoo (Elvis), Yugaan Naidoo (Preggy), and the ever loveable, quick witted Aya, Miriam Bassa with fresh face, Uraysha Ramracheya rounding out the cast.
