Sometimes I wish I went the tradie route instead of becoming a good little officel wageslave. Most of my tradie friends are happier and wealthier than my white collar friends, despite the latter group being college educated.

I built some home gym equipment recently and let me tell you, building things is a great thing. I felt a deep sense of satisfaction looking at my completed work and my sore forearms.
I feel like I would feel that satisfaction growing my own food too.
