I been trying to eat somewhat healthier since i pretty much just eat carbs and meat. I've gotten these salad mix bags and they are actually pretty good. however its like 3 bucks a bag or something which i know is overpriced.however whenever i buy a big plastic box of spinach i end up never eating it. and those giant mixed bags seem like **** and just rot after like 2 days.

Misc salad eaters, do you make your own or buy the premix bag?

depends what you're getting. if it's a spring mix with no dressing added, then that's ok. you can add some salt, pepper, and a little bit of olive oil. if you're using dressing, then it's not as healthy, because that can raise cholesterol levels.

I make my own since I prefer the foilage to be just straight romaine rather than a bunch of that purple cabbage **** and carrot slivers. that crap groces me out for some reason.
