Xiaomi launches affordable Mi TV P1 Series with Dolby Vision support

Xiaomi has unveiled a new affordable TV series in Italy. The Mi TV P1 has been launched in four screen sizes - 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch.

All the models of the series have similar specifications apart from the 32-inch size.

Xiaomi has unveiled a new affordable TV series in Italy. The Mi TV P1 has been launched in four screen sizes - 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch. The Mi TV P1 series runs on Android TV, offers a standard 60Hz refresh rate and comes with support for Dolby Vision. It also gives users access to Google Play store and built-in Chromecast. The TV models are powered by MediaTek SoCs and come with slim bezels on all sides.

All the models of the series have similar specifications apart from the 32-inch size. There is still no word on whether Xiaomi plans to launch this series India or not. It has been launching smart TVs under both Xiaomi and Redmi countries in the past.

Mi TV P1 series price

The Mi TV P1 series is priced at EUR 279 (around Rs 24,800) for the 32-inch model and the 43-inch model costs EUR 449 (around Rs 39,900). The 50-inch model costs EUR 599 (around Rs 53,200) and the 55-inch model costs EUR 649 (around Rs 57,600). The two bigger models will go on sale later this month but there is no confirmation on the availability of the two small variants.

Mi TV P1 series features and specifications

The Mi TV P1 series comes in 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch screen sizes. The 32-inch variant runs Android TV 9 while the other models run on Android TV 10. The 32-inch model comes with an HD-ready (1,366x768 pixels) panel while the other three models feature 4K (3,840x2,160 pixels) panels.

All the models are powered by quad-core MediaTek MT9611 SoC with a Mali G52 MP2 GPU, have 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. They support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. The smart TV comes with two 10W speakers supporting Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

In India, Xiaomi had recently launched its most premium 75-inch smart TV. The Mi QLED TV 75 came with several amazing features including Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ support. Xiaomi had also introduced Redmi TV in India earlier this year and plans to sell both the line-ups in the country.
