IPL 2021: MS Dhoni buys horse for his farmhouse- Dhoni is the second Indian cricketer to get a horse after his Chennai Super Kings teammate Ravindra Jadeja, who has 4 stallions in his Jamnagar farmhouse. The all-rounder even posted pictures of his pet horses after returning home on May 5.
“Back to the place where I feel safe,” Jadeja tweeted.
Dhoni meanwhile, is currently quarantining with the Chennai Super Kings franchise in Delhi and will return home soon, after the indefinite suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
CSK’s bowling and batting coaches L Balaji and Michael Hussey tested positive for Covid-19 on May 3 and 4, respectively, which forced the whole contingent to go into isolation in their hotel rooms.
Balaji and Hussey were flown to Chennai in an air-ambulance for further treatment while some players left the city to return home.
Dhoni has reportedly taken the decision to stay back in Delhi as long as all his teammates, especially the overseas players, don’t leave Delhi and return to their homes safely.
