35-year-old shot by ‘friends’ in PG

Gurgaon: A 35-year-old man was shot inside a paying guest (PG) accommodation in Ishlampur village on Tuesday by two persons.
According to police, the man identified as Sandeep from Sampla village in Rohtak, had been residing in the PG for the past two months along with his friends Manish and Jonty. “It is suspected that the trio had an argument, following which the duo killed Sandeep. They fired multiple shots, of which four bullets hit Sandeep and he died on the spot,” an officer said.
Hearing the gunshot, neighbours rushed to the spot and found Sandeep lying in a pool of blood. He was taken to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A case under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC and relevant sections of the Arms Act was registered at Sadar police station. “The duo fled leaving their pistol at the crime scene. The murder seems to be fall out of an old enmity. The exact reason can be determined after their arrest,” said police spokesperson Subhash Boken adding that different teams are conducting raids to nab them.
