Three years before he made his debut as a Bollywood leading man with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawarya, Ranbir Kapoor had starred in a short film titled Karma, which was made in 2004 and was based on capital punishment. The film, directed by BR Chopra's grandson Abhay Chopra, is selected for screening at Bandra Film Festival. It is available on the official YouTube channel of the festival from May 5. Tamannaah Bhatia stars as an ethical hacker Anuradha whose biggest concern is selling her father's house so she can pay for his Alzheimer's treatment in the upcoming web series November Story. The seven-episode whodunit is directed by Ram Subramanian, and also includes Pasupathy, GM Kumar, Aruldass and Vivek Prasanna in the cast. Prasad Kadam has bagged a nomination for the Best Director award. The film recently made it to the final of the Paris Play Film Festival.

Anubhav Nanda, who plays Yakub in the web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, required to do a lot of action as well as dance in the series. He says he was able to do these effortlessly due to the work he has earlier done as a choreographer. The actor's character is great friends with actor Parth Samthaan's character Nawab in the series. The two actors are great friends off screen as well. The story of the action drama is based in Mumbai, set in the 1990s. It also stars Arslan Goni, Arshin Mehta, Ganesh Yadav and Errol Marks.
