Was on the varsity golf team at a match. Coach put me in the #2 spot, tho I was the worst on the team. His idea was to toss in the towel for #2 and try and win 1,3,4,5,6. Have all his better golfers lower so they'd win. Sucked for me because I was way out of my league. They sent the #1 golfers off on the #9 hole, and we get to go off first in front of a crowd. I'm about having a heart attack due to nerves. I go up there, take a nervous practice swing. Then swing about as hard as I can, I hear it go and I'm like oh **** hope I didn't duff it. I'm trying to find the ball in the air and everyone is cheering I'm still looking, where is it.. Ends up being straight in the fairway, over 300 yards past everyone else who hit by at least 30 yards. Best drive I ever hit and it was at the best possible time. Birdied that and par the next but then sucked.

I played when i was like 9-11 years old. Didnt really like it, found it boring as fuk but still tried to please my parents with it.
Anyway, i entered 2 or 3 tournaments, cant remember exactly, but every first shot would be done in front of a bunch of people, all my trainers, family, friends, etc. For whatever reason, every first shot of a tournament, it would be an absolutely perfect drive. Right in the middle of the fairway, as far as i was phisically capable of, beautiful as fuk. Every time id be the same.
Then once there wasnt any public, id start shooting terrible lmao.
But i still remember that look on my dad's face in front of his friends after those first drives"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
