A house isn't objectively worth the $300K+ that most are priced at
It's basically a bunch of wooden walls partitioned off into a kitchen, living room, bathrooms, bedrooms, garage
But the mass hysteria about owning a home has people believing these things are actually worth $300,000 or more
Similar to how objectively a piece of art that isn't worth more than a few dollars than the canvas it's painted on is sold for millions of dollars because people believe it's actually worth that much
