Kamareddy: As part of the Covid-19 control measures, the state government undertook a fever survey in Kamareddy district to find out those who have the virus infection symptoms so that the treatment can be given immediately and stop the further spread of the virus.
On Thursday, about 1,000 teams, made up of accredited social health activists (ASHA), assistant midwives (ANMs) and Entomology wing staff, interviewed 25,000 households. The team conducted door-to-door surveys to identify those suffering from fever and others Covid-19 symptoms. District Collector Dr Sharath investigated the survey in Devunipally town.
The Collector said at the event that 1,000 teams are participating in the door-to-door survey and gathering information from each household. If someone has symptoms, we distribute medicine to them, the Collector adds. Kamareddy DMHO Dr Chandrashekhar, Municipal Commissioner Devender and medical officers were also present at the event.
Covid hall inspected
Nizamabad District Collector Narayana Reddy investigated on Thursday Covid ward in the GGH hospital and interact with the patients. The collector also investigated the ICU, labor department, and asked the officials concerned to take measures to limit the spread of the virus. At the event, the supervisor was dr. Harishchandra Reddy, Deputy Superintendent Dr Nimala Balraj and others, at the GGH.
