Bombay HC refuses to provide interim protection to Anil Deshmukh

He has approached court and requested to quash FIR lodged against him by CBI following a preliminary enquiry in corruption case.

Bombay High Court today refused to provide interim protection to Anil Deshmukh, former home minister of Maharashtra.

He has approached court and requested to quash FIR lodged against him by CBI following a preliminary enquiry in corruption case.

Court adjourned the plea and asked the CBI to file a reply. Court said that Deshmukh can approach the vacation bench in case of extreme urgency.
