Sunrise UPC adds broadband, mobile postpaid customers in Q1, but revenues drop

Thursday 6 May 2021 | 09:53 CET | News
Swiss operator Sunrise UPC said it added 14,400 new broadband customers in Q1 2021 to reach a total of 1.15 million. Mobile postpaid customers increased by 42,000, driven by FMC take-up and the 5G network, it said, to a total of 1.75 million. This was partially offset by a decline of 15,300 in the legacy prepaid base to 460,600, for a total mobile base of 2.21 million. The number of TV customers rose by 6,400 in the first quarter to 1.24 million, while fixed telephony customers passed 1 million, after adding 12,300 new customers in Q1.
