North-Rhine Westphalia reaches 66% of households with gigabit access

Sixty-six percent of the households in Germany's most populous state, North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) can access gigabit-enabled networks. This includes 16 percent with access to fibre-optic networks, said the Minister for Economy, Innovation and Digitization in NRW Andreas Pinkwart at the Glasfaserforum 2021.
