IPL 2021 Suspended: Foreign Stars gets emotional on social media- The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday took the much-needed decision to postpone the IPL 2021 amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in India. As the league gets postponed many foreign, as well as Indian cricketers and support staff, began their journey back home. Many cricketers wrote emotional posts on social media post-IPL 2021 suspension.

Expressing his opinion on the current situation Rajasthan Royals’ opening batsman Jos Buttler took to Twitter and wrote, “India is a special country going through a very difficult time. Thank you for welcoming me and my family like you always do. Please stay safe and look after yourselves.”

Delhi Capitals’ pacer Kagiso wrote on Instagram,” A real pity the @iplt20 had to come to an end so early. As always I have enjoyed being apart of the @delhicapitals environment, my home in India! I hope everyone everyone keeps safe. Until next time.”

Former cricketer now coach, commentator & administrator Tom Moody said, “To those who are suffering my heart is filled with love for you and your families, I pray for your safety and well-being. Meanwhile, eight Englishman have already landed in London while members of the Australian cricket fraternity are expected to fly to the Maldives before heading home to Australia.
