Pak intruder shot dead by BSF in J&K's Samba sector

Jammu, May 6 (UNI) Alert troops of the Border Security Force have gunned down one Pakistani intruder close to the international border in the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

BSF spokesman here said that during the intervening night of May 5-6, at around 0235 hrs, BSF troops shot dead one Pak national around 100 meters inside their own area.

He said that the intruder was moving towards the Indian side and did not stop.

"Own troops challenged him and subsequently, they fired and shot dead him. Dead body is still lying on the spot," said the spokesman.

He added that Rs 150 Pakistani currency was recovered from his possession.
