Beeline expands network by 1,000 base stations in Moscow in Q1 as regional traffic grows 37%

Russian operator Beeline, controlled by the Veon Group, has deployed almost 1,000 new base stations in the city and region of Moscow in the first quarter of this year. According to data from the operator, the use of the mobile traffic jumped by 65 percent year-on-year in the city of Moscow and was up by 37 percent in the Moscow region from January-March.
