Jen Psaki, Biden's spokesperson, said that the US government was sending ingredients for making 20 million doses of AstraZeneca (Covishield) vaccine from supplies that had been ordered.

The US is unlikely to require the 300 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine that it had contracted. It has an adequate supply of Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

According to USAID, at the request of the indian government, it has sent six air shipments of supplies to India. oxygen, N95 masks, rapid diagnostic tests, medicines, and other supplies are among the supplies provided. In addition, USAID sent approximately 1,500 oxygen cylinders, which will remain in india and can be refilled locally regularly.
