Hyderabad: Director-General of Police Mahendar Reddy said on Wednesday that commissions for coordinating health monitoring will be established at the office of the police commissioners and the district superintendents of police in the state.
A decision on this was made during a video conference held here at the police headquarters. Reddy said the department is according to the priority of the safety of police personnel and there have been WhatsApp groups created in every wing to work with those who are positive through zoom meetings to build trust among them.
Senior officers, station house officers and doctors would advise the patients in the group. Instructions were also given to give Covid kits and dried fruit to the patients. Instructed by officials to prepare the health profile of everyone in the department, Reddy asked the authorities to take the necessary steps to rush patients to the nearest hospital if they get complications.
