The rising case of the corona has left everyone worried, but there is another problem in front. Perhaps for the first time in the country, 8 Asiatic lion coronas have been found infected at the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. On April 29, sources said, the Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology verbally told the Nehru Zoological Park officials that 8 lion positives were found in the RT-PCR test.
On 24 April, veterinarians found that they had symptoms of corona such as loss of appetite, watery nose, and expectoration of phlegm while taking care of these animals.
Doctor Siddhanand Kukreti, who maintains the zoological park, has neither confirmed nor denied that these lions have been found positive, Dr. Kukreti said, "It is true that the lions have shown signs of corona but We are yet to get RT-PCR report of these lions from CCMB. We will be able to give information about this only after getting the report."
