Review meeting on Covid vaccination held

Bishnupur, May 04 2021: With a view to review the preparedness of Covid management and vaccination of the District, DC Bishnupur Krishnakumar IAS, held a meeting at the Conference hall of the Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur today.

The meeting was attended by SDPO Bishnupur, SDO Bishnupur, Nambol and Moirang, CMO Bishnupur along with the members of the Bishnupur District Task Force.

In view of the of the surge in the Covid cases, the DC has instructed CMO Bishnupur, Dr L Gojendra to be on alert at all times and also strictly advised that no covid patient should be left unattended wherein need.

CMO, Bishnupur highlighted on the shortage of hospital facilities and other essential facilities like oxygen supply.

He also mentioned about the overwhelming number of people coming for vaccination after the Covid second wave.

Further topic related to overcrowding at the vaccination site was also brought up by members of the task force and action plans to be taken regarding the same was also discussed in the meeting.

Later the DC of Bishnupur joined by SDOs and SDPO Bishnupur also visited District hospital and Oxygen plan site, Bishnupur.
